Efficient and ecofriendly ways of producing electricity

Recently, we have been learning about electricity. We watched a video in which taught us how electricity is distributed throughout the US. There are 4 different power grids, and electricity travels at an extremely high voltage which means it must pass through a transformer to lower the voltage. There are many differ et ways electricity is generated; the most natural and efficient are hydroelectric, wind, and solar. Coal and fossil fuels are the most commonly used because it is the easiest and cheapest to produce, but it is detrimental to the environment. We looked at stats of different countries around the world, and every country uses different ways to produce electricity asked on their resources and priorities.
